About calm-invest

Dedicated to helping UK residents understand and access the benefits they are entitled to.

Founded on a Simple Belief

calm-invest began in 2018 when our founder, after helping a family member navigate a complex PIP application, realised how many people struggle alone with a system designed to help them.

That family member had been wrongly denied benefits twice before receiving proper guidance. The third application, prepared with careful attention to how the assessment criteria actually work, was successful. The difference was not their circumstances—those remained the same. The difference was understanding how to communicate those circumstances effectively.

This experience revealed a fundamental problem: the gap between being entitled to support and actually receiving it is often filled with confusing forms, unclear criteria, and processes that assume knowledge most people do not have.

We set out to bridge that gap. Today, our team of welfare rights specialists works with individuals and families across the UK, translating complex regulations into clear guidance and supporting people through every stage of the benefits process.

Empowerment Over Dependency

We aim to give you the knowledge and confidence to understand your entitlements, not to create reliance on our services. Our goal is that after working with us, you feel equipped to handle future benefit matters independently.

Dignity in Every Interaction

Applying for benefits can feel demeaning. We treat every client with the respect they deserve, recognising that needing support is a normal part of life, not a personal failing.

Honest Communication

We will never overstate your chances of success or encourage claims we believe will fail. Our assessments are realistic, and we explain both opportunities and limitations clearly.

Our Core Values

01

Accuracy

Benefits regulations change frequently. We maintain rigorous training schedules and information systems to ensure our advice reflects current rules, not outdated guidance.

02

Accessibility

Complex language helps no one. We explain entitlements in plain English, avoiding jargon and breaking down complicated concepts into understandable terms.

03

Thoroughness

A rushed assessment misses entitlements. We take the time needed to understand each client's full circumstances, often identifying benefits they did not know existed.

04

Persistence

Initial rejections are not always final. When we believe a decision is wrong, we support clients through mandatory reconsiderations and tribunal appeals with determination.
